DHPPiL: A vaccination that protects against infection of Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, brought on by CAV-2 and Parainfluenza virus, and Leptospirosis brought on by L. canicola and L. icterohaemorrhagiae.

Anti-Rabies: Rabies is a fatal disease that causes hydrophobia, paralysis, biting behaviour and spasms. Given at a minimum age of 90 days or at any time after, the rabies vaccination is a necessary puppy vaccination.

Corona and DHPPiL: A combination of canine corona and DHPPiL vaccination that protects against Corona virus and other diseases like Canine Distemper, Parvovirus Enteritis, Hepatitis and Parainfluenza virus.

How Does Vaccination Work?

Vaccination boosts the immune system, making it stronger and better equipped to fight diseases. Vaccination contains a variety of antigens that simulate disease-causing pathogens without significantly harming your pet.

After the vaccination, the immune system experiences only minor stimulation. Due to timely vaccination, the pets immune system is now prepared to recognize the illness, eradicate it, or lessen the severity of the condition if it ever comes into contact with it.

Your veterinarian can determine the vaccinations that are important for your pet depending on their location, breed, and lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on their age, prior vaccination history, and medical history, your pet will require different vaccinations each year. Following a specific puppy/kitten vaccination schedule based on their age is recommended if youre bringing home a new dog or cat. For adopted pets, its important to know which vaccinations they’ve already received and when so that you can schedule their upcoming shots accordingly. Your dogs vaccination plan can be made with assistance from your Vetic veterinarian.

Vaccines for pets function in a similar way to vaccines for people. A dead or weakened version of an infectious disease is given to your pet as an immunization. The body of your pet then produces antibodies against the disease, aiding in the prevention of illness or greatly reducing the severity and length of illness if your pet is exposed.

All dogs and dogs must have rabies vaccinations according to the law. Bite wounds and deep scratches are the main ways that rabies, a deadly disease, is transmitted. Prevention is the only form of treatment. All cases of rabies end in death once symptoms start to appear.

Making a pet vaccination schedule for your dog or dogs is something our veterinarian can assist with. This is particularly crucial if your pet is older or if you just adopted them from a shelter or rescue. Typically, between the ages of six and sixteen weeks, puppies and kittens need their first round of vaccinations. Then, every 12 months, they require booster shots. Older dogs and cats require fewer initial vaccinations, but they still require annual boosters to maintain their immunity. The ideal vaccination schedule for your pets can be chosen with the assistance of our veterinarians.
